KateKate Middleton and Prince William first met in 2001 as both were students from St. Andrews. According to the legend, Prince William met Kate Middleton at a fashion show where she wore transparent clothing which caught his attention. The year 2003 was the first time they had been engaged. The following year, in St. Andrews, Middleton as well as Prince William were roommates together along with two other students. Kate Middleton started to be targeted by news media around this time. This led to many people to threaten legal measures. Unknown reasons led to Kate and William divorced in the year 2007. Though rumors began to circulate shortly afterwards the idea was that they were back together.
