Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her longevity in the highly intense film industry is a reflection of her skills and talent as an actor. Young model she began her career in the 1970s. Then she became a household name within the world of modeling. Beginning in the 1980s she took classes in acting and theater before appearing on stages in Los Angeles. The year 1987 saw Russo played Eden Kendell on ABC's show Sable. In her first film Major League two years after she portrayed Tom Berengers romantic interest. Critics were initially skeptical of her ability as an actor However, her consistently good performance won them over. Her praise was for her role of Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak and also in Outbreak, where she competed with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. However by her own admission she's never really been a passionate about acting. After a prolonged break, she self-imposed on herself to act in 2005. Her return was in Thor. In addition, she starred in Nightcrawler which was her husband's Oscar Award-winning film. The Intern followed, as did Just Getting Started.
Rose Namajunas ranks among the best UFC female athletes. She started her career in amateur fighting, where she competed for various regional promotions. In the following years she joined Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Because of her success both inside and beyond the octagon, Namajunas has been known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose was a basketball player and kickboxing throughout her growing into a young woman. She made her debut professionally when she was 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she won two matches by submission. Dana White, who was following her closely at the time, signed Rose in the UFC strawweight division to fight in December 2014. She had just turned 22. Rose has experienced highs and lows throughout her professional career, yet she always emerges victorious. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by a technical knockout in less than 3 minute of round One. Rose not only won the championship but was named Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA history by winning this fight as she became the first woman to challenge in a title fight in any organization of note. Following this victory Namajunas was able to have a number of victories, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC in the wake of these wins .
