Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her longevity in the highly intense film industry is a reflection of her skills and talent as an actor. Young model she began her career in the 1970s. Then she became a household name within the world of modeling. Beginning in the 1980s she took classes in acting and theater before appearing on stages in Los Angeles. Dana White, who was following her closely at the time, signed Rose in the UFC strawweight division to fight in December 2014. She had just turned 22. Rose has experienced highs and lows throughout her professional career, yet she always emerges victorious. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by a technical knockout in less than 3 minute of round One. Rose not only won the championship but was named Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA history by winning this fight as she became the first woman to challenge in a title fight in any organization of note. Following this victory Namajunas was able to have a number of victories, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC in the wake of these wins .
